homework update

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get everything posted. My computer has been having sporadic problems connecting to the internet,
and I've been combating a virus which makes my browser go nuts and send me flying off to random ad websites. I think I've got it
under controll, but I'm not yet sure if emailing word document attachments will spread the remaining viral problems,
so I'm just posting the text of the new script on the blog.

For next week, what we need, as a group, is as follows:

Pictureboards (as opposed to storyboards)
Final Character Designs (In color, in poses)
Full Body of Assets

This all needs to be presented to the class, and to Glover, in slideshow form. We are to present as if the audience
has no prior knowledge of our story.

As for character designs, here is what we decided in class:

Kevin-- We will use Nikki's design. Nikki, if you feel you need to update it in any way, now's the time,
but I think it's great as is. Just make sure to bring a decent-sized JPG of him. The one we used for the pitch is fine by me.

The Missionaries-- Nikki's design for this one again. And again, the stuff you brought to class was great. Bring a decent-sized
JPG for the slideshow, and I'm happy.

Amy-- We will use Nikki's design for this part, with the minor change of a new hairstyle that doesn't cover her face. Same specs
the other two: JPG for the slide show.

Mrs. Jenkins-- We will be using Aimee's design, with the minor change of giving her a cane. I need a colored JPG for the slideshow.

Girl Scouts-- We will be using Aimee's design. Colored JPG for the slideshow.

Here's what I need from everybody, posted to the blog by Tuesday:

Nikki: I need colored JPGs of Kevin, The Missionaries, and Amy.

Aimee: I need colored JPGs of Mrs. Jenkins and the Girl Scouts

David: I need you to handle the pictureboards. Three to five conceptual drawings, like storyboards in format, but non-narrative.
We don't have to board out the whole story, just give a visual sense of the film. Think of Ralph McQuarrie's concept paintings that
George Lucas used to pitch Star Wars. Obviously, they don't have to be that amazing. Pencil, marker, or photoshop will be fine.
I'd say do one of Kevin sitting in his living room, one of Kevin interacting with an unwanted guest of your choice, and one of kevin
with Amy at the end. Be sure to use the established character designs listed above. Also, use roughly the posted layout for the living room.

Catherine: You have shown yourself to be extremely capable when it comes to organazation and assembly. I'm leaving the powerpoint
presentation to you. I realize this leaves you hanging until everyone else has completed thier stuff, but there's no better way to handle
that part. If anyone hasn't posted thier stuff by tuesday, or whenever you need to put this together, let me know, and let that person know.

Me: I re-wrote the script, and will continue to adjust it with Glover's input. I will also handle the rest of the "assets," basically
props and backgrounds. That's a drawing of the living room, a drawing of the kitchen, drawings of the Couch, Coffee Table, Blueprints, the bible,
the sugar cannister, the girl scout cookies, and any other major non-character items I can think of.

Please have everything in jpeg format and posted on the blog by tuesday so Catherine can assemble the slideshow.
